In part one, I’ll show you the type of fabric needed to make the 32” x 32” baby quilt you see above I call “ Little Laura”.

We'll dive into the essential steps of cutting fabric to bring your cozy creation to life.

We'll sew the fabric squares into units, then rows, and joining those rows to form the quilt top. 

 
 

I’ll show you how to assemble the “quilt sandwich”, that is layering your quilt top with backing fabric of choice and batting.

We’ll hand quilt the layers together, then make and attach the binding.

In this optional step, I’ll show you how I added lace to the binding of my quilt.
