I have a freebie for you!

Present your work to clients professionally with my free Adobe Illustrator mood board templates.

I use these same mood boards to visually organize my ideas before starting a new project.

This way I can print it out and have it nearby as reference throughout the design process.

I also take them to client meetings and I send them to clients before starting on a new project.

It helps to visually confirm everyone is on the same page.

Just pop in your art, inspiration photos, Pantone colors, your logo, etc.

You can see a finished example of one of my moodboards below.

(Don’t forget to pin this so you can find it later:)

You can download the Adobe Illustrator moodboard template file and get access to other freebies in my vault by signing up here or clicking the box above.

Let me know if it was helpful and please tag me on insta @maureenmaker if you decide to use it.

I would love to see how you make it yours.

Also, check out my free list of trend resources when you open my vault, all of the links are clickable, I made it super easy to get the info you need fast!

But I don’t use Illustrator!

Don’t use Illustrator? No problem.

Did you know Canva has free mood board templates?

Check them out here.

That’s another great free option.

Don’t forget about Pinterest!

Need something a little quicker? I love to use Pinterest to curate mood boards for my clients/projects.

Pinterest is not just for recipes and planning your dream lake house 🤣

Pinterest is quick to learn how to use. There is an endless supply of gorgeous reference.

You can keep boards private and share them with your clients easily by email.

And I love their Pinterest 100 trend report, so helpful for predicting what will be popular in the upcoming seasons.

If you want to dive deeper into Pinterest, I took Jenna Kutcher’s The Pinterest Lab, and I learned so much! But she also gives tons of free content on her Goal Digger Podcast.

It’s definitely worth a listen. You can click here to listen to one all about using Pinterest, but there are many more, all with valuable marketing info.

That’s all for today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Please let me know in the comments how you research trends in your work, I am always looking for new resources.
