RUN OUT OF GIFT TAGS?
I don’t know about you, but I always run out of gift tags during the holidays.
It never fails, I set aside time to wrap all of my gifts. I am deep into it and I run out of gift tags. I think the gift tag packages you can buy in the stores are getting smaller and smaller.
I have the perfect solution for you, just print these out as many times as you like.
PRINT ON CARD STOCK
I like to print mine on white card stock, but use whatever you have on hand.
You could even buy adhesive-backed paper, and these will become peel and stick tags, so convenient.
I like to use these Avery 30 Sheet package, Printable White Sticker Paper, Laser/Inkjet Printing - Matte, Letter Size (8.5" x 11") from Amazon. ( Affiliate link, I will earn a small fee, at no extra cost to you) At just about $6, it’s a great deal.
Just print at home, cut them out and peel and stick onto your gifts.
HANDMADE GIFTS
Do you make any of your holiday gifts?
I can’t resist, I love to make things, so I’m usually working on several handmade gift projects during the holidays.
I made sure to include “handmade” tags for you, because I am guessing, you like to make things too.
NEED A LAST MINUTE GIFT?
You may want to check out a few easy beginner sewing projects to make some last minute gifts.
My easy dog bandana is the perfect beginner sewing project gift to make for your pet or as a gift for one.
THIS DOG BANDANA USES SNAPS
Or try this version. It uses less fabric, since it is not reversible, but you will need a snap applicator. I love to use the Kamsnap applicator. You can get the same one I use here.

DON’T FORGET THE HANDMADE TAG
One year I made my girlfriends a custom mini calendar, complete with a handmade wooden base.
(I enlisted my hubby for that part).
I included photos of places we had visited during the year, favorite hikes, etc. featured each month, plus some hand -drawn artwork.
I had to hand cut out each month, and I even made a bellyband, and packaged it up very professionally in a clear bag.
They all said thank you, but I never got that big THANKYOU, for the very thoughtful, handmade, took me forever to make gift! Can you relate?
Until 6 months down the road, they noticed a photo of all of us, and they figured out I made it.
So, the point of my story, sometimes, you have to spell it out, that your gift is handmade.
Don’t forget the handmade tag!
I now make these calendars every year, and they look forward to them. I missed one year and was reminded every month how much they missed it.
Enjoy the holiday season and I hope these tags make life a little easier for you.
If you use them let me know. If you would like more, also let me know, I am taking requests…
Happy Holidays, Happy Making
